Calling all wine drinkers...

I know at least a few of you can help us out here!

We have volunteered to provide 35 centerpieces for the tables at the Northeast Region Escape to the Cape Convention in April/May.

We need 35 light colored / nice looking wine bottles that will take a standard cork that we can put battery operated solar lights in and that are controlled with a plastic cork. In addition, we’ve ordered candy and trinkets to update the centerpieces for each day of convention. Thursday will be general tropical/beach theme, Friday will be 80’s theme and Saturday will be pirate theme.

If you are crafty and/or good at using a glue gun and would like to jump into the centerpiece assembly line to create them, please let me know.

It would be great to collect the washed wine bottles at the March meet up at Brickyard Hollow. I’m also on the lookout for the Gold Coin candies that are out at this time of year for St. Patrick’s Day – about 200-300 candies. Many thanks to member Walter Willette who is carving up 35 wood slices for us to put the centerpieces on.
